Jeep Tj Jack Points. Is it safe to put only one side of the jeep up on jack stands, with the other side on the tires?. There really are no safe jack points for a Hi-Lift, you use what you have to use on the trail and pray the Hi-Lift doesn't fall over on you or slip out and let the Jeep crash down.

That being said, you could theoretically jack the Jeep from the axle tube without a concern for breaking. Gives you two extra points for recovery to add shackles or to even use as a jack point for off-road jack use. Most Jeep jack kits include the jack, a jack handle and a lug nut wrench.
